Half-Life SDK
The Half-Life SDK provides the source code and tools for creating GoldSource engine mods. In 2013 updated source code was released to GitHub at https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife. The updated source code included updated engine API definitions and Linux and Mac support. In 2024 the code was updated again with the 25th anniversary update changes.
The Half-Life SDK 2.0 was released in May 2000 and added support for VGUI as well as providing the source code for game's AI.

Master Sword is a mod that has existed since at least 2003. It has been through numerous iteraction including Master Sword: Continued and the current Master Sword: Rebirth which is intended to be released on Steam.
