Revelations 2012 was developed by Dark Artz Entertainment and was released on 24th April 2012 (https://twitter.com/DarkArtzEnt/status/194536085831950336), though the game was in beta for some time before that, with a beta update on 2nd November 2011 (https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/201070?updates=true&emclan=103582791432535516&emgid=2921103526302519239). The game appeared to based on Left 4 Dead 2.

On May 3rd 2012 the price was lowered to $9.99 and a four pack for $19.99 was also made available (https://twitter.com/DarkArtzEnt/status/197806632716075008) - it's not clear what the original price of the game was. On the same day existing buyers were also given 3 extra gift copies (https://twitter.com/DarkArtzEnt/status/197807132744232961).
