KUMA\WAR 2
KUMA\WAR 2 was developed by Kuma Reality Games and was initially released in July 2006. KUMA\WAR 2 was a successor to the original KUMA\WAR, an N-Fusion engine game. In its time, 74 missions were released for KUMA\WAR, and KUMA\WAR 2 continued on chronologically, releasing missions 75 to 108 (with an unexplained gap for missions 90 to 98). KUMA\WAR 2 was a free to play title available through the Kuma Games launcher.
Episode 108 (The Fall of Sirte: Gaddafi's Last Stand) was released as a multiplayer mission on 25th October 2011 (http://kumagames.com/news.html). It appears that episode 108 was released on the Unity engine rather than the Source engine as it is missing from the final archive. Kuma Reality Games was also using the Unity engine rather than the Source engine for their later game Tiger Unit (Wahdat Al-Nimr) (announced around 2011) and probably for The Race of the Horsemen (Sibak al Fursan) (announced around 2010). Unity was also used for their Ice Road Truckers mobile app. Presumably Kuma Reality games was beginning to transition to Unity as the Tiger Unit game files make reference to kw3
- probably meaning KUMA\WAR 3 (i.e. a new game and engine to continue on).
At some point in 2017 or 2018 Kuma Reality Games discontinued their Source engine games and encouraged players to check out their new Unity engine games (http://www.kumatv.com/moregames.html). A final archive of the original Source engine games was made available by Kuma Reality games on Google Drive. While no longer available on Google Drive it can be downloaded from https://www.legendsworld.net/site/download.php?mirror=1141.
