Tutus
Tutus, originally titled Virtual Workplace was a workplace training package developed by Maverick Developments - it was sold to businesses as an interactive training program for staff. The initial release date is unclear but it appeared on the Maverick Developments website in around September 2002 (http://maverickdev.com/). In around May 2003 Tutus was spun out into a separate company - Workshield: a partnership between Maverick Developments and YTKO (http://www.workshield.com/ws/). It disappeared from the Maverick Developments website some time between September 2004 and December 2004 (http://www.maverickdev.com/).
Tutus came with 11 modules: Building Site 1, Building Site 2, Construction Manager, Scaffold, Plumber, Electrician, Office, Factory, Warehouse, Catering, Training (to learn Tutus). A number of additional modules - Warehouse 2, Catering 2, Office 2, Barpersons National Certificate and Ten Golden Rules of Dismissing - were also made available at £99 per module. A 1.0.0.2 update was also made available but not patch notes were provided (http://www.workshield.com/tutus/updates.html). A demonstration CD was also available on request (http://www.workshield.com/tutus/index.html) but no copies are known.
